O alto grau de complexidade imposto por tarefas na área da odontologia está exingindo mais do ser humano do que seus sentidos naturais podem lhe oferecer. Dessa forma, o uso de mecanismos que facilitem o planejamentoe a execução dessas tarefas vem trazendo benefícios tais que indicam, auxiliam e aumentam essas capacidades. Muitas são as barreiras para conseguir-se um sorriso perfeito no tratamento de áreas estéticas, dentre eles podemos citar os defeitos ósseos e gengivais perpetuados após a perda dos elementos dentários. Sendo assim, a utilização de implantes osseointegrados vem se concretizando como uma forma de tratamento segura em alguns casos, demonstrando resultados satisfatórios do ponto de vista funcional e estético,ainda mais associados ao uso da cirurgia guiada por computador. O objetivo deste trabalho foi apresentar um caso clínico de reabilitação unitária na região anterior de maxila, no qual a cirurgia guiada foi utilizada. A reabilitação com implantes bucais demanda uma exigência estética grande, que só pode ser obtida com avaliação e planejamento cuidadosos.
The high degree of complexity imposed by tasks in the area of the Dentistry is demanding more of the human being than their natural senses canoffer to him. In this way, the use of mechanisms that facilitate the planning and the execution of these tasks is bringing such benefitsthat indicate, assist and increase these capacities. Many are the barriers to obtain a perfect smile in the treatment of aesthetic areas, among them we can mention the defects on bone and gingiva perpetuated after the loss of the dental elements. So, the use of oral implants is becoming a safe treatment form is some cases, demonstrating satisfactory results in the functional and aesthetic aspects, even more if associate to the use of the computer-guided surgery. The objective of this work was to present a clinical case of unitary rehabilitation in the anterior area of the maxilla, in which the guided surgery was used. The rehabilitation with buccal implants demands a big aesthetic requirement, which can only be obtained with careful evaluation and planning.
